VTC's Rising Stars Production of: Disney's Frozen JR.
Disney's Frozen JR. is set to take Ellensburg by (snow)storm. Part of Valley Theatre Company's Rising Stars Production series, it will feature a cast of local youth in 3rd - 8th grades, playing 30+ parts. This enchanting modern classic is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage.When: April 25, 26 and May 1, 2, 3 at 7:00 pm

Spring Paint and Sip at Canyon River Lodge
Ellensburg is known for the sweet scent of lilacs as they bloom citywide every May. Join us at Canyon River Lodge for a Paint and Sip event with local artist Erin Oostra owner of NuWave Gallery. Learn how to create beautiful lilac watercolor greeting cards, perfect for Mother’s Day, in the cozy riverside lodge great room.
There are 25 seats available so grab your friends, buy your ticket today and plan to arrive by 6:30pm sharp. Cheers to an evening of creativity, community, and lilacs riverside at the stunning Canyon River Lodge.

Ellensburg First Friday Art Walk + CWU Design Awards!
Join us for a special evening of art, community, and celebration during Ellensburg’s First Friday Art Walk! We’re proud to showcase “Paper Trails: Conservation and the Spirit of Ellensburg”—a powerful poster exhibition featuring designs by Central Washington University graphic design students alongside works from local artists.
At 5:30 PM, we’ll be hosting an Awards Ceremony to recognize standout student work, hand-picked by Nuwave Gallery and CWU faculty. Come cheer them on and celebrate the incredible talent emerging right here in the Kittitas Valley.
Enjoy wine from Fortuity Cellars, mingle with artists, and support the creative voices shaping the future. All poster artwork is available for purchase—this is your chance to collect meaningful, locally inspired pieces and directly support young creatives.
